Costa Rica does not use any physical addressing like in other countries. Most places are listed by complex name or business name. We highly recommend using the navigation application called Waze on your mobile device. Waze and Google maps are both excellent at navigating in Costa Rica. Type in Corteza Del Sol Condominiums, Jaco, Costa Rica and the application will do the rest. 

Your condo is located on the left-hand side of the complex, right next to the 2nd pool if you enter on the first path between buildings towards the rear of the parking lot. The security guards will know the exact location if you need assistance.

When it comes to safety, there are no compromises with this property. Security has been instructed to make sure all guests, visitors, and children entering the property are permitted. They keep the property safe from partiers, noise, pool accidents, and public intoxication. Warnings will be issued before fines are imposed for violations. Please understand, the security guards job is to make sure the property and guests can relax and enjoy the surroundings without feeling threatened.  They enforce a family friendly environment.

The property allows day visitors, not to exceed the occupancy total which includes adults, children, infants, and day visitors. This is one of our most frequently asked questions as many people would like their friends and family to share in the experience. All visitors need to added to the security roster before 6PM. Although we are staffed during daylight hours, it can take us several hours to see your request and add it to the security roster. The guards don't refresh their roster immediately and its advised to reach out 2-4 hours in advance. Visitors should leave by nightfall or 9PM as the complex quiet hours will begin. 

Jaco Beach is a very safe community. Hundreds of thousands of people visit each year (read more) . There are several in town clinics to address any injuries you sustain during your visit. Walking around at night is safe for families as we have a 5 year old daughter that accompanies us. Just like in any medium sized town, exercising judgement during the late night hours is advisable. Do not walk around intoxicated especially not past midnight on unlighted streets trying to find your way home. If you are out at clubs drinking, use Uber to get you home safely for less than $5. There is no need to increase interactions with people that may be out looking for trouble past midnight.

The resort has 1 parking spot available per unit. The resort would like to avoid overcrowding with the condo units and ensure all guests have access to safe parking within a monitored facility.
